In this heartwarming film, we follow the work of Cape Town’s Sanccob Seabird Hospital – where a passionate team are battling to save precious penguin lives. Each year, Sanccob nurse 1500 struggling penguins back to health and a life in the wild. Led by Margaret Roestorf, this international team care for penguins with all sorts of problems and personalities. From rearing abandoned chicks, to supervising swimming lessons, washing oil off feathers, stitching up shark bites, and pairing off mates. Following the incredible life stories of the penguins who call Sanccob home, we’ll expose the fascinating inner workings of penguin biology and get to know the colourful cast of humans who are making penguins their priority.
