We’ll Meet Again is a documentary series reported and executive produced by Ann Curry. Each episode features emotional reunions between people who lived through momentous events in US modern history. Their experiences forged powerful bonds and shaped their lives across decades. We follow them on a journey of detection as they look for a special long-lost friend or stranger who helped them through those life changing events.
While the series is about history, it is not told from the point of view of world leaders. Instead it explores the lives of everyday people who survived moments of drama spurred on by the humanity shown to them by others.
The series includes powerful personal stories of the Vietnam War, survivors of the Holocaust, the Great Alaskan Earthquake, comrades in arms from the Korean war, and pioneers in the women’s rights movement.
